Just a random post... We got together with friends for New Years. We went to se Avatar and went out to eat earlier. We got babysitters for our babies, they were cousins so they watched them together. I was nice to get out for a couple hours. We did the count down at 12 and then went to bed! It was so nice to be with my family to roll in the new year. My wonderful husband and beautiful baby!!
I got called to the primary, Valiant 9, I thought to myself am I righteous enough to teach these children. I was so nervous as I was preparing my first lesson. The Plan of Salvation, I study and read all the scriptures listed. Ryan helped me make a cut out for each child as a reminder. It was 160 little peice with velcroe on the back to make it stick, what a wonderful husband!! I get to church which now starts at 8 am, and I am feeling really calm. Walk into my class and there they are, waiting, looking at me for the first time. I introduce myself and then it all just fell into place, it all just felt so natural. The kids were so fun, and the spirit was strong in the room. Sharing Time, I herd the kids down the hall into our asigned seats and sit reverently, a member of the bishopric taught the class, they showed a picture for the kids to guess what was happening I looked at the picture blank...no idea what it was showing, my class did, they taught me. It was a humbling experience and as I go on every week preparing the lesson I learn something new, and I feel so blessed to have this calling, that I was chosen to teach and to learn!

Finley is growing so much, she sits up all day now, plays with her doll, and knows the sign for milk, we have been teaching her sign language or at least our version of it! She won't roll over she hates her stomach so much but on her back she goes in circles now, I'll go in to her crib when she starts to fuss and she will be completely side ways! She likes carrots but hate the cereal and peas (like her Grandma Wendy and me). I love to go in as she is sleeping and she sucks on her binki the way her cute little cheeks tighten and lose. She loves to touch our face now, grab our nose and lips, she touches my hair but is really good not to pull it. The higher pitch we talk to her the more excited she gets! Her new favorite thing is to sit on the couch in her corner spot and then throw herself backwards so she hits the back of the couch. I feel so blessed to have Finley in our lives, she brightens our days, she makes us laugh so hard with the smallest things. I can't imagine my life without her in it.
