Finley's first present of Christmas 2009, what could it be??

Ever since she has gotten her tooth she is obsessed with it always has her tongue moving on it, and just recently she has started sucking her lips into her mouth, which turns out to be so cute ha ha I love when she does just a part of her lip its the funniest looking thing!!

The pictures are all in the wrong order but I'll work with it. This picture is from our Christmas Eve party we had. The tree was so pretty so I borrowed it for a picture of Fin infront of it. Seems how we had an office tree this year ha ha.!!! The party was so fun. Thanks Lisa and the Herberts for inviting us. We had Italian food for dinner, played the funniest game and acted out the night baby Jesus was born. Finley played an Angel. Not hard for her!!! Then everyone opened PJ's as the tradition usually goes, Finley and her cousin Jaxon actually got the same pair. How funny!! We really had so much fun going Thanks again Lisa for a wonderful party.

So on Saturday we decided to have our first date night with out Fin, where we had to hire a babysitter, luckily we had won a night of free babysitting at our ward party in the silent auction!! We called her up and it was set, we'd go get her at 6 pm and be off on our date night. But first we we went over to see our friends new baby girl, Skylin, She is so tiny and cute!!! We visited with our friends for a bit and then off to get the babysitter,I was nervous to leave her, thought that I might cry. She fell asleep on the way home as I gave instruction for the babysitter, and I thought she would wake up when we took her in the house, but she didn't, Ryan thought about waking her up so that she would be freaked out when she did wake up and we weren't there, didn't want her to think we abandoned her!! But we left her sleeping...I got a little emotional after we drove off. But knew that Ryan and I need a night out with just the two of us. We had plans to go out to eat and then to the movie, but after we ate I wasn't feeling like going to the movies, so we went and walked around the mall. It was pretty crazy the Saturday before Christmas, Santa was there and they had fake snow falling. Ryan got an ice cream and I tried some clothes on. We aren't late nighters anymore so at like 9 we decided to go back home. I was anxious...but we came and Finley was asleep and the babysitter was just watching "Roseann". ha ha. Over all it was a good get away!

Finley is all ready for church!! She loves to get in her pretty dresses and go see all the other kids at church! I'll stand her on my legs so that she is looking backwards and she'll find another baby and just smile and laugh at them! Its so cute.

I gave Finley apple juice the other day, trying to get her to pooh!!, But she hated it. Would suck on it give the most awful face and then bat it out of her hands! It was so funny I kept trying thinking she would start to like it, but its been a few days and she still hates the taste!!

I love this picture of Fin. I was taking a few for a Christmas card and she kept doing all these really cute faces but I love this one. She looks like she is being shy or something!!

Her head is tiny only in the 7%. But they aren't worried about it. her second tooth is coming in right next to her other bottom one!! She hates to eat the cereal and we get more on her clothes and face then in her mouth. I put a spoonful in and then put her binki in hoping she will swollow some of it!!

Happenings...

I have been a blog slacker I know...but I am doing it now so its better late than never. In the Johnson household we have had sickness!!! Finley got croup and it was way sad and scary, she would eat and then start coughing so hard that she would throw it all up!! And on top of croup she was teething!!! She got her first tooth on Sunday its so cute she won't let Ryan see it always puts her tongue in the way butt she let him feel it!!. She is SIX months now! I can't believe it. We go to the Dr on Thursday to see how she is developing!! Finley is pretty much the laziest baby, she won't roll over, she has only like three times and she wasn't sitting up but then just the other day she started doing it just fine...she gets distracted by her feet and ends up face planting it but she's learning. I put her up to the couch and she holds on and can balance for a min and then falls over!! Way cute. When you hand her a toy, she always goes for the tag first! She hate baby food well the rice cereal thats all I have tried, but she just won't eat it. Someone taught her how to spit...not mentioning names...Ry, but she'll just sit there and spit and talked all day!! We love her so much she is such a joy in our lives and I can't wait to see her grow and develop. Even though she already has such a personality!

For an early Christmas present we got her a walker, and man let me tell you she loves this thing she makes it go front and back, but gets mad when she runs into the wall or couch and can't go anymore. Shis great with her hands and grabs and holds everything, switches hands, which I think she is going to be lefty like her daddy!! We also found out she loves Mary Poppins when I get a min I will convert the video so you can see, she just watched it so intently it was so cute!!

And uh oh...She has started to want to suck her thumb it started with her just chewing on it but lately I have cauht her sucking on it so each time I pull it out and say ew.... ha ha she just laughs and puts it back in.

Two months after Fin was born little baby Jaxon came!!! They are goin to be great friends!
