I am putting 2 post into one... first Finley is two weeks old today!! Hooray, she is such a joy in our lives, always keeping us busy it feels like. She sleeps really well at night anywhere from 10:30pm-6:30am just depending on the night! She has now poohed on me and Ryan three times as we have changed her and she almost always pee's on one of us when we change her! She smiles, or maybe its gas but still its beautiful and always makes us smile. She is growing so fast we have a Dr appointment tomorrow so I will up date her measurments when we get them. She had to go to the lab this week to get her second PKU test done and it was so sad, they had to prick her foot and fill 5 circles up with her blood, ya she was screaming the whole time and I teared up!! Who wants to see their sweet baby screaming.

Also, it was Ryan's birthday this past week, June 25! We didn't really do anything he had to work all day, he opened his gifts, new shorts and 2 new shirts, then we went out with some friends to Oregano's it was a nice quiet birthday just like he wanted. He was having a hard time turing 30, but we love him so much. And I appreciate everything he does for our little family he truely is so amazing. Can't wait to celebrate all your birthdays with you babe!

Oh and Finley lost her umbilical cord today!! Ryan changed her butt and then was holding her and asked me, "what is this?" it was something hard in the back of her PJ's, he said is it her cord and sure enough there it was all black and crusty. Now we can give her a real bath!! yay pictures will come later.

My family came to visit and help out with the baby, which I am so grateful for! Thank you family! We had so much fun, we went to the Zoo and went shopping, played in the pool and bbq! I was so sad to have them leave I wanted them to stay forever. They were so much help and the company was so nice I loved the noise of the kids!!

My mom changed Finley's diaper while me and Ree ran into Barnes and Noble, when we came out Ree was mad that mom changed her on her consul that she put the diaper in my mom's purse. ha ha

Finley got spoiled by Gma, she loved to be cuddled by her Gma!! We miss you lots family! Thank you again for coming.

My water broke Saturday night at like 11:55 pm. I wasn't yet asleep so I felt it start so luckly I jumped out of bed before the first gush could come (sorry if this is to detailed), I turned on the light and said Ryan I think my water just broke, his response, "Are you serious?" ha ha he was so tired he kept asking, " Are you sure you didn't just pee?". So we weren't really packed cause I was just expecting to be started on Monday so we through some things in a bag and Ryan loaded it all to the car. And off to the hospital, I started to get little contractions on the way to the hospital but nothing serious. We got to triage and I was a 2 and 80% still, we got to our room and went for a walk hoping gravity would help her out. The contractions started to get stronger and stronger, but I wanted to experience the pain of labor. Ryan was so tired, he kept falling asleep as he was trying to help me breath through the pain, she was face up so I was having weird contraction that were one right after the other lasting like a min and half to two min. So at like 9:30 I had had enough and got the epidural. LOVE EPIDURALS. We were both able to take a little rest and I progressed very nicely, 4 and 90%, 5 and 100% and then at like 12:30pm I started feeling pressure so they checked me and I was a 9, so they paged the Dr. He was at church until 1:30 so they started to get everything ready I started to practice push at 1:40 and she came at 2:41 pm! I didn't have to have Pitocin or anything, the whole experience was so wonderful! Ryan was so helpful through it all and cut the cord, I really am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. We didn't have a name for her til the next day and it was none of the ones we had picked out for her. But she's here and we love love love her! Finley is such a joy in our lives and we are so blessed to have her.

So here I am still pregnant! ah I just want to meet her already, but we don't have to wait to much longer if she hasn't come before, we are getting induced on Monday at 9 am!! So the waiting is almost over, I was hoping to go on my own but she is not cooperating.
