People these days

I really can't believe this world these days, how people just do things with out any regard to what they are causing. This Saturday I was out on our balcony talking to my sweet mom, when this black Tahoe pulls up behind our cars and stops, now I wasn't thinking anything of it people getting dropped off or picked up for a night out on the town... WRONG. Someone gets out of the passenger side and throws something against our jeep and then jumps in the car and they drive away. The sound I heard was like a drinking getting slammed against our car so I told my mom I'd have to call her back, I went in told Ryan to come out and see what was on the car, we walk out there and what do we see, broken glass. They threw a big rock through our back window. I was so upset, who would do that we don't know anyone here really. I wasn't able to get a license plate number, I was only able to get a look at the person driving the car, it was a girl! We called the police department to report the incident just so in case they are driving around with another rock in there car. So here we are no back window and in the wide open for anyone to get into, thank goodness for Nicole and her family for letting us park our jeep in their garage. We were able to get our window fixed today but what a pain like who really throws a rock in someone's window at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night. We are very glad that nothing else happened and I was able to see it so our jeep wasn't just exposed all night for anyone to steal or strip it.

A week of adventures!

So last week Ryan and I had a week full of adventures!! It started off with us going to the beach house with the family. We were like two house away from the beach and it was so fun, very relaxing. We got there on Saturday night and just visited and then the next day it was wake up, eat a little something and off to the beach. Now Sunday wasn't the best weather, I mean it was over cast and the water was pretty cold but I still ventured in bringing Ryan in with me. He was so sweet with me in the water, taught me how to boogie board even though I was way scared about the undertow, didnt' want to get sucked out to sea. Now I am from a small town and we never bother with wet suits we just jump right in and let our bodies adjust to the cold water so thats what I did for the most part, but then I got curious so I put a wet suit on. It was pretty weird but it worked didnt' get as numb out in the water and easier to stay on the boogie board. Thanks Nicole for lettin me borrower your colorful wet suit! The weather was sunny and warm the rest of the time and we enjoyed it. We saw dolphins they came so close to the beach and they were jumpin around with each other and it was was cool to see them in there natural environment, also we tried to catch these baby tiger sharks that came up close to the beach (terrified of fish, way scared to go back in even if the were just babies), we went searching for starfish for my nephew, for shells and we also saw a seal, it just popped right up pretty close to the beach.Digging for sand crabs, to feed to the mass amount of birds that were around

Ryan had to push me in the waves so that I could ride them!

Ryan going out to the big waves!

Mid week Ryan decided we should go see Disneyland and California Adventures seems how we were so close, only like an hour or so north. It was so fun I love love loved it. They both were decorated for Halloween time and for those of who know thats my favorite holiday! The graphics and design of it all was just great to walk around and see. The rides were really fun, my favorite was Hollywood Tower in California Adventures and Magic Mountain in Disneyland. So funny we were more excited then some of the little kids that were there. Mickey and Minnie came out and we ran to the front of the line to get a picture with them. Ha ha

We really enjoyed the time with the family and it was really hard to leave to come back to the every day life!

Tavin J.

On Tuesday September 30 we were blessed to with another nephew Tavin J. McDonald. He was 8 bs 2 oz. and 21 inches long. After coming into this world he started having problems and with great sadness he was taking up the Utah Valley Hospital to the Nicu. He is now being treated for low blood pressure and has recieved a blood tranfusion, and is on a respirator. Its very sad for all my family but we know through faith he will pull through. I just ask for those of you who will, pray for Tavin that he may have strength to get through this trial and for his parents and other siblings that they may be comforted. Thank you
